Rotisserie Pineapple With Vanilla Ice CreamUpdated 2 hours ago


Prepare to exercise all of your self-control with this delectable rotisserie pineapple with ice cream. It’s juicy, sweet, and  beautifully caramelized that you can’t help but finish it in seconds. 

Perfect for summer gatherings, backyard cookouts, or a fun family dessert night — this showstopper is guaranteed to impress every time.


INGREDIENTS:

  • FOR THE ROTISSERIE PINEAPPLE:
    • 1 ripe pineapple
    • Vanilla ice cream, for servin
    • Sprinkle, for garnish
  • FOR THE GLAZE:
    • 3 tbsp butter, room temperature
    • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
    • 1 tbsp cinnamon
    • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom(optional)
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract


RECIPE:

  1. Preheat your Fritaire to 400F.
  2. Cut the top and bottom of the pineapple. Remove the skin by cutting off one strip, then working your way around all therest of the pineapple.
  3. Make sure to carve all the pineapple eyes out, as they’re not edible.
  4. Puncture the rotisserie shaft lengthwise through the pineapple, center and fix it with forks. 
  5. Place the rotisserie spit with the pineapple into your Fritaire, start the motor and air fry for 45 minutes at 400F.
  6. In a small bowl combine the glaze ingredients.
  7. Once the pineapple is roasted, brush it with the glaze and roast for another 20 minutes, until caramelized.
  8. Once the pineapple is ready, remove from your Fritaire with the grabber and let it cool down for at least 20 minutes.
  9. Slice and serve.
