These chicken wings are seriously addicting and perfect for a protein-packed lunch. Pair them with some French fries or delicious mac n’ cheese. Feel free to incorporate other ingredients like bleu cheese, fried rice, and more.
INGREDIENTS:
- FOR THE WINGS:
- 1 lb chicken wing
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/3 tsp fine sea salt
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- FOR THE HONEY SRIRACHA SAUCE:
- 1/4 cup honey
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 3 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
RECIPE
- Preheat your Fritaire to 400F.
- Thoroughly pat dry the chicken with a paper towel.
- Mix the baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, salt, and olive oil.
- In a large bowl, toss chicken wings with oil mixture. Fill the Tumbling Basket with the seasoned wings.
- Air fry the wings in the Tumbling Basket for 50 minutes.
- Add all the sauce ingredients to a small saucepan and let simmer for 10 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
- Line the Air Stand with parchment paper. Carefully remove the wings from the Tumbling Basket and transfer them to a large bowl and pour the sauce over. Toss to coat evenly.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer, fleshy-side down and air fry for 15 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and starting to char a little.
- Serve immediately.
