These French toast roll-ups are unbelievably delicious and mouth-watering, practically crowd-pleasing. They’re so easy to make, which makes this dish a little extra dangerous. It’s the perfect dessert and midnight snack.
INGREDIENTS:
- 8 pieces sliced bread
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- Icing sugar, for serving
- Maple syrup, for serving
- Fresh strawberries, for serving
RECIPE:
- Line the Air stand with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix the butter, light brown sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon.
- Cut the crust off the bread, roll it up flat. Spread over the cinnamon butter and roll it up tightly.
- Whisk together the milk, eggs and vanilla extract and dip the roll-ups into the mixture.
- Spray the roll-ups with nonstick cooking spray and place them into a single layer on the Air Stand.
- Air fry at 375F for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown, turning them halfway through.
- Mix together the granulated sugar with the remaining cinnamon. Carefully remove the roll-ups from the Fritaire and coat them in the sugar mixture, while still hot.
- Using a small strainer, sprinkle some icing sugar over the roll-ups.
- Serve with maple syrup and fresh strawberries.
